Dear Friends and Family,

I hope this letter finds you all in good health and high spirits. I hope everyone had a great Fourth of July celebration. Our family spent the holiday in Nicaragua, marking our first trip back in a year. It was great to be back swimming in pools, walking the beach,

surfing, hiking and, most importantly, spending quality time with our kiddos through endless adventures. Nicaragua has undoubtedly become our cherished home away from home.

As 2022 came to an end, we welcomed Theodore (Theo) Robert Halcott on the first of December. To add to the excitement, we moved into our new home the same week.

Admittedly, the timing couldn't have been worse, but we managed to overcome the hurdles. Our first winter in Park City was one for the books. The resorts received over 600 inches of snowfall, breaking all previous records. The accumulated snow caused roofs to collapse, parking lots to vanish, and city streets to shrink, transforming into narrow one-way alleys. It was wild. However, the record snow gave us the opportunity to hit the slopes as a family. I am proud to share Shredding at Deer Valley – Theo hiding in my jacket that three out of our four children have embraced skiing wholeheartedly. Marie (6)

is our speed demon, always the first one down the mountain. Will (4) is a true shredder,

skiing an impressive 47 days this year, and his enthusiasm for gear and recreating constantly challenges me. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree! Evie (2) began the season on the magic carpet and ended it confidently riding all the Deer Valley lifts,

skiing down greens and even some blues, all while adorned in a tutu, her signature style. Theo (7 months) even had a few memorable runs strapped to my chest in a baby carrier. Meanwhile, Jennie not only got back to skiing but also ventured into the world of ski touring, climbing Park City Mountain early mornings or beneath the lights at night with friends. When you mix in some snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and even some sledding our first winter in PC was nothing short of magical.

The wise Greek philosopher Heraclitus once said, "There is nothing permanent except change." Our family truly experienced the truth in these words throughout the past year. Our children embraced the changes though with open minds and actually thrived. They love their new home, schools, friends,

and activities. We hope that these experiences will equip them with the tools to remain open-minded,

adventurous, kind, and accepting throughout their lives, in the face of any future changes or challenges they may encounter.

On a personal note, I celebrated my 40th birthday this year. I still vividly recall Wild Bill's 40th birthday celebration in a cabin at Starved Rock State Park. We decorated the cabin to surprise him upon his return from work, and we celebrated as a family. This year, my children also helped me mark the milestone, but with a morning mountain bike ride together. It was a perfect day filled with family, reflection, and a deep appreciation for the beauty of this precious life. Professionally, I have embarked on a new adventure with Providus Capital Partners (https://providuscp.com/). Joining forces with Naimish and two other partners,

we are building a business in the engineering and architecture space. Many of you have already provided invaluable support in various ways, and I am immensely grateful for your assistance. We have already created a promising pipeline of opportunities and anticipate closing our first acquisition in the near future. Additionally,

Naimish and I have plans underway to launch another dental business. I am thrilled to once again begin the challenge of building something from the ground up, as Birthday mountain bike ride the thrill of growth truly excites me.

This year marks my 17th consecutive participation in the Copper Triangle bike ride, a feat that still amazes me. Once again, we are proud to lend our support to two remarkable organizations that have had a profound impact on my father's life: the Davis Phinney Foundation (DPF) (https://www.davisphinneyfoundation.org/) and The Illinois Valley Brain Injury (IVBI) Clubhouse. The DPF provides valuable information,

inspiration, and tools to empower individuals living with Parkinson's to lead fulfilling lives,

while the IVBI Clubhouse extends crucial support to members of my hometown, LaSalle County, who have been affected by various brain injuries.

Our fundraising goal this year is set at $25,000. If you would like to make a donation to support my ride on August 5th, please visit http://www.wildbillswarriors.org/. This annual ride holds a special place in my heart for numerous reasons. It allows me to reach out to you, my friends and family, and keep you updated on our endeavors. Moreover, it grants me the opportunity to commemorate Wild Bill's memory in a manner that brings about positive changes for these wonderful organizations. Though our family has experienced countless changes and welcomed numerous additions since my dad's passing, I am confident that he is watching over us, smiling proudly, and rejoicing as the "Halcott Circus" continues to flourish. From the bottom of my heart, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each one of you for your support throughout the years.

Be Wild,

Brandon
